The wind emerges
From its cold hard den
It encounters a leaf
The dance begins then
It all started well
Twirling in the air
Such a long time passed
They were quite a pair
Then the leaf flew back
Turning from the wind
Blind towards the effort
The winds patience thinned
It changed direction
Found another space
The other whirled around
Began to retrace
Bantered behind trees
The leaf made a strike
At that point in time
They were not alike
Flitting together
A weak deal was made
Once that was over
The wind backed away

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb he murmured.
I looked away, hiding my eyes as I thrilled to the word.
What a stupid lamb, I sighed.
What a sick, masochistic lion.
